Just a few miles above Kailua-Kona, is the village of Holualoa. Once the bustling center of the Kona Coast, over the years it has attracted many artists and crafts people. Now famous as the art center of Kona, it has just about everything to offer the many visitors who discover this little piece of paradise.
Among these treasures is the HOLUALOA 'UKULELE GALLERY. Located at the south end of town, in the historic old Holualoa post office building, Sam Rosen has created a truly unique setting to display 'ukulele created by uke makers from around these Hawai'i islands. 'Ukulele and unique gift items are presented in a gallery atmosphere that you will find comfortable and inviting.
Featured instruments are created by some of the finest makers on the Big Island, and the inventory is always changing. You are encouraged to try any of the instruments on display. If you don't know how to play, Sam will show you how easy it is!
